Tucked away in the heart of Sathorn, Kraz brings a slice of Bretagne to Bangkok. This modern French crêperie reimagines the traditional galette and crêpe with creativity, authenticity, and a bright, relaxed atmosphere that makes it one of the city’s most charming new spots for brunch or casual dining.

Concept & Atmosphere

The name Kraz comes from the Breton word for “crispy,” and that’s exactly what you’ll find here, thin, golden-brown crêpes with a delicate crunch.

The restaurant was opened by the IODE team, in a renovated shophouse on Soi Sribumphen, with a cozy two-floor layout featuring an open kitchen, warm orange tones, and minimalist décor. The space feels inviting yet refined, ideal for both a quick coffee stop and a leisurely meal.

The Menu

Kraz specializes in galettes — savory buckwheat crêpes that are naturally gluten-free — alongside classic sweet crêpes.

Savory highlights include:

Complète: smoked ham, egg, Comté cheese, and a touch of jalapeño.

Galette complete

Iode: smoked trout, sour cream, ikura (salmon roe), and pickled onions — a nod to Brittany’s coastal roots.

Sweet favorites:

Beurre-Sucre: the timeless combination of butter and sugar, simple and perfect.

Beurre-Sucre

A signature mezcal-infused crêpe with blood orange, grapefruit, and kumquat — bold, aromatic, and modern.

The Drink Menu

The drink menu focuses on authentic cidre breton, available by the glass or bottle, alongside coffee, wine, and seasonal soft-serve desserts such as salted caramel with peanuts or fig-leaf flavor.

Why Go

Kraz stands out by balancing authentic French technique with Bangkok’s contemporary café culture. It’s both elegant and approachable — the kind of place where locals and expats mingle over crisp galettes and chilled cider. The food is carefully executed, the service warm, and the overall experience quietly sophisticated.
