PŪRṆA presents: Oriana b2b Max Headroom

PŪRṆA makes its debut at Siwilai Radical Club, opening a night held in the space between fullness and emptiness. One room, one long arc, given over to hypnotic, slow-building electronic music from doors until close. Four artists carry it through, opening in restraint and closing in full-floor intensity.

Born in North America and shaped by dance floors around the world, Accidental District fell into underground music as a kid through pirate radio and never looked back. Fifteen years in, he moves fluidly across house, techno, breaks, jungle and garage, building genre-bending sets that read the room and the moment. He has played across ten-plus countries, including Radio 303 in Tokyo and Bangkok rooms like BEAM, Elsewhere, Baccarat and The Warehouse.

MM (Madman) is a DJ and artist of Swedish descent, born and raised in Thailand. His foundation was built over years in orchestras and bands before he moved into electronic music, and it shows: his sets are rooted in simplicity, where minimal selections carry maximum impact. Through carefully crafted rhythms, subtle textures and emotionally charged soundscapes, he builds immersive journeys that leave listeners wandering, dancing and fully absorbed in the moment.

The night closes on a rare extended back to back between two figures of Barcelona’s dark electronic underground.

 

Oriana (Solitary Listener / Uruguay) is an international DJ based in Barcelona, known for her powerful presence, refined selection and strong visual identity. She has played the last three editions of Ombra Festival, part of a new generation of alternative electronic artists reaching well beyond Spain. Her sound moves fluidly from slow, conceptual, low-BPM openings into high-impact dancefloor intensity, drawing on industrial EBM, American techno, breaks, acid rave, electro, new beat and dark wave. She also runs the label Solitary Listener, dedicated to experimental, boundary-pushing electronic music.

 

Max Headroom (Ombra Festival / Barcelona) is Raul Gayo, co-founder and executive director of Ombra Festival. Behind the decks he works obscure electro, darkwave, EBM and industrial atmospheres shot through with nineties influence. He came up in Barcelona’s EBM scene and held a defining residency at Becool that became a reference point for the city’s electronic avant-garde, before founding the UFF! festival and the Soundworks collective. Since 2018 he has run the acclaimed darkwave festival Ombra alongside his partner Nico (Synths Versus Me, Oraculo Records).

Together for three hours, they trade records and build the floor into the early morning.
