Join us in celebrating one of the greatest sitcoms ever made for Father Ted’s Irish Pub’s – 10th Anniversary as we welcome renowned stand-up JOE ROONEY for a night of all things Father Ted! Joe featured as the rebellious Father Damo in the classic Father Ted episode The Old Grey Whistle Theft, leading Dougal astray with his earring, cigarette smoking and bad-boy attitude.
In this whimsical, laugh-out-loud comedy show, Joe will bring a celebration of Father Ted to Father Teds, in character and out with jokes a-plenty as well as his Craggy Island quiz and an all-inclusive ‘Lovely Girls Competition’: have you got the loveliest laugh, the loveliest walk, and can you make the loveliest sandwich? There will also be a dancing priests competition, plus appearances from a nursery-rhyme singing Ziggy Stardust, Nirvana, Johnny Cash and many more – and the evening wouldn’t be complete without a sing-along to ‘My Lovely Horse’! Come and meet Joe and immerse yourself in the very silly delights of Father Ted. Ah, go on… you will, or Feck off!
