Et pendant ce temps, Simone veille ! est une pièce de théâtre créée en 2013 par Trinidad, Bonbon, Hélène Serres et Vanina Sicurani. Jouée sans interruption à Paris depuis plus de dix ans, elle totalise aujourd’hui plus de 1 800 représentations.

La pièce retrace l’histoire de trois femmes sur quatre générations, guidées par une Simone malicieuse et engagée qui ponctue le récit des grandes dates ayant marqué les combats féministes en France, des années 1950 à nos jours. Sur scène, trois comédiennes incarnent tour à tour ces femmes, leurs espoirs, leurs renoncements et leurs luttes.

Ces héroïnes, aux destins différents, partagent pourtant un point commun : elles ont travaillé pendant la guerre et gardent la nostalgie d’une indépendance « éphémère ». De retour à la paix, elles sont renvoyées à leur rôle de femme au foyer – c’est l’« effet mère ». Alors, parviendront-elles à transmettre à leurs descendantes ce goût de la liberté ?

De la lutte pour le droit à l’avortement à la procréation médicalement assistée, en passant par la pilule et le planning familial, ce voyage dans le temps interroge nos héritages et nos luttes. Avec humour et pertinence, la pièce met en lumière les évolutions majeures, mais aussi certaines réalités toujours d’actualité – inégalités salariales, charge mentale, sexisme ordinaire etc. – et rappelle le lien essentiel entre l’intime et le politique. Elle souligne que l’égalité des genres demeure un combat quotidien, nourrissant de nouveaux féminismes et rendant visibles les luttes portées par les nouvelles générations.

Et pendant ce temps, Simone veille! (“Meanwhile, Simone Is Watching Over Us!”) is a stage play created in 2013 by Trinidad, Bonbon, Hélène Serres, and Vanina Sicurani. Performed continuously in Paris for over ten years, it has now reached more than 1,800 performances.

The play traces the story of three women across four generations, guided by a witty and committed Simone who punctuates the narrative with key dates from the major feminist struggles in France, from the 1950s to the present day. On stage, three actresses successively embody these women, their hopes, their compromises, and their battles.

Though these heroines follow very different paths, they share one common thread: they all worked during the war and retain a longing for that brief, “ephemeral” independence. With the return of peace, they are pushed back into the role of housewife — the so-called “mother effect.” Will they manage to pass on this taste for freedom to their daughters and granddaughters?

From the fight for abortion rights to medically assisted reproduction, via the contraceptive pill and family planning, this journey through time examines our inheritances and our struggles. With humor and sharp insight, the play highlights major social advances while also shedding light on realities that remain all too present — the gender pay gap, mental load, everyday sexism, and more — and reminds us of the essential link between the personal and the political. It underlines that gender equality remains a daily struggle, fueling new feminisms and making visible the fights carried forward by younger generations.

แม้เส้นทางชีวิตของพวกเธอจะแตกต่างกัน แต่มีสิ่งหนึ่งที่เชื่อมโยงถึงกัน นั่นคือ ประสบการณ์การทำงานในช่วงสงคราม ซึ่งมอบอิสรภาพชั่วคราวที่พวกเธอยังคงโหยหา

เมื่อสันติภาพกลับคืน พวกเธอกลับถูกผลักให้ย้อนกลับไปสู่บทบาท “แม่บ้าน” อีกครั้ง ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่เรียกว่า “ผลกระทบของความเป็นแม่”

ด้วยอารมณ์ขันและความเฉียบคม ละครสะท้อนความก้าวหน้าทางสังคม พร้อมเปิดเผยความจริงที่ยังคงอยู่ในชีวิตประจำวัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ช่องว่างค่าจ้างระหว่างเพศ ภาระงานที่มองไม่เห็น (mental load) การเหยียดเพศในชีวิตประจำวัน และอีกมากมาย

เรื่องนี้ย้ำถึงความเชื่อมโยงระหว่าง “เรื่องส่วนตัว” และ “เรื่องการเมือง” พร้อมชี้ว่า ความเท่าเทียมทางเพศยังคงเป็นการต่อสู้ในทุกๆ วัน และเป็นพลังที่หล่อเลี้ยงเฟมินิสม์รุ่นใหม่ให้เดินหน้าต่อไป
